In all, more than 745,000 people died in 2016 from overwork that resulted in stroke and heart disease, according to the WHO. In response to these realities, an opportunity was found to ease and improve people's overwork habits and balance people's healthy work-life relationships. The product should be able to detect people's excessive stress, alleviate the problem of people sitting for a long time, and bring users a feeling of physical and mental pleasure during use.
The whole function of EGGO Rest is based on the circuit connection and programming of Arduino. The selection of each part corresponds to the corresponding setting function, such as: vibration, heat, sound, etc. The aim is to encourage users to leave their current work environment when they are feeling stressed or working long hours. And use the empty time to rest physically and mentally. For example, users can choose to do exercise, nap, drink tea or eat snacks.
As a desktop product, EGGO can be flexibly used in various scenarios such as living room, bedroom, home office and kitchen. And help users better develop work and rest habits, by getting people out of the mode of overworking and unhealthy work habits. Compared to existing designs on the market, EGGO encourages users to move away from the computer more effectively by increasing interaction with the product.
At the same time, the broken eggshell pattern, further deepen the user’s tension and sense of substitution. Let people take the initiative to realize the importance of taking a rest, and through visual, tactile and auditory cooperation, to the maximum extent to meet the user’s experience.
