THE GENIE LED

The Genie LED is a more reliable, portable emrgency lamp for your home. It has an automatic illumination of a secondary LED when the power goes off, that will never leave you in the dark again!

The Problem

From research a lot of the elderly generation feel very vulnerbale when a power cut occurs and fear the risk of falling and tripping, especially if they live alone. That’s why I created The Genie LED.

Function 1

Function 1 is that it can be used as an ordinary table lamp. Simply add your own preferred shade, which complies with the standard E27 fitting and screw it on. Then plug the lamp into the outlet and use the switch to turn the first LED on and off.

Function 2

The 2nd function is for the lamp to be usedin emergency mode. The secondary LED will automatically come on when disconnected from power, for example in a power cut. You no longer are thrown into compete darkness and now have time to gather your bearings and use the lamp as a portable, hand held device.
