Happy Hitcher

Most agricultural accidents happen when coupling or uncoupling an implement from a tractor. The primary reason for these accidents is the Power Take Off driveshaft, PTO, this driveshaft extends from the tractor to provide mechanical power to implements. Safety advice is often disregarded by users when working with the PTO and this is the primary reason for it being so dangerous. The Happy Hitcher allows the farmer to fully couple/ uncouple any agricultural implement from the safety of the tractor cab.

The solenoid locking controls for the Happy Hitcher are fully incorporated into the control panel of the tractor and the lifting capabilities are retrofitted to the tractors existing hydraulic arms. Using no structural changes to tractors or implements the Happy Hitcher is a minimalistic and intuitive design that has familiar attachments and controlsallowing the design to reduce hitching time and importantly have a huge positive impact on user safety.
